West coast best coast?
Welcome back, it's another week and I'm working on continual updates. My little sister is leaving this week so I'm counting on that to free up my time. Of course, I'll have to set up some time on the weekend to hopefully pre-write my weekly articles. One of the first things I'm going to work on doing is researching content management. From what I understand this is mostly setting up a schedule and organizing content creation.
Content marketing is a field of design that I've only just started to look into. It's something that many of my direct coworkers do on a day to day basis and something that's very important to brands in today's day and age. If you don't catch my drift, I'm saying my social media is a mess. Git gud, Kat. Git gud.
TLDR: I'm learning about content marketing
So let's get back to the subhead. Since my sister has been visiting, I've been doing a lot of traveling (and not just on the weekend). Over the past 14 days I've been to Lake Tahoe, Oakdale, Pinecrest, and Monterey in that order. I think it's safe to say I'm a little worn out. Also my butt hurts from sitting in the car for too long. I have to say though that I've really discovered that I'm a beach person and that I am able to do cold water scuba with minimal complaints.
I won't go too in depth on my trips other than to give ya'll a few must do's for each location:
1 Lake Tahoe
• Coldwater Brewery. Best burgers and chocolate bundt cakes.
• SUP. Rent a kayak or paddleboard, take it anywhere.
2 Oakdale
• Honestly didn't get to explore as much as I wanted. I think another trip is in order.
3 Pinecrest
• Anywhere in Pinecrest. It's all gorgeous.
4 Monterey
• Sardine Factory. It's pricey but oh so worth it.
• Old Fisherman's Wharf. It's a super cute little shopping district.
* Sailing. If you've never been on a sailboat, this is a must!
• Monterey Aquarium. Super pricey, but oh so gorgeous.
These are just a few of the things that I did while on each of these trips. All of these places are wonderful for a weekend trip too. Here's a few photos from the trip :)
Alright, final paragraph I promise! Here's what you can expect article wise for the next week. This might change depending on how busy I get so be sure to check back! First and foremost, I'd like to write about some of the things I've learned about content marketing; this will come towards the end of the week most likely. I'd also like to follow that up with a laid out plan for implementing my new knowledge and leveraging it for my stream twitch.tv/thebananabae. It'd also be nice to see if I can come up with a plan for foreveramber.org but we'll see if that happens. I'm still trying to get my day to day schedule laid out.
Thanks again for reading! While this is just a personal blog for me, myself, and I, I still enjoy feedback so please feel free to comment or email me anytime. See you in the next article.
